Product highlights

Flexible AC charging across connector standards

Choose the electrical configuration that matches both the vehicle and the charging equipment.

01

Type 2 to GB/T connection

Bridges compatible Type 2 AC charging equipment and a vehicle equipped with a compatible GB/T AC charging inlet.

02

Four configuration options

Available as 16 A or 32 A, in single-phase or three-phase versions. Actual supplied options may vary.

03

Practical 5-metre reach

Offers useful flexibility when the vehicle charging port is not positioned directly beside the charging point.

04

Purpose-built for AC charging

Designed for compatible AC charging systems—not CCS, GB/T DC rapid charging or bidirectional vehicle-to-load use.

Compatibility first

Connector shape alone does not guarantee compatibility

Compatibility can depend on the vehicle model and year, onboard charger, charging-station design, electrical supply, software configuration, regional implementation and charging protocol.

  • The charging side provides a compatible Type 2 AC connection.
  • The vehicle has a compatible GB/T AC charging inlet.
  • The cable rating is suitable for the charging equipment.
  • The selected phase configuration is supported by the supply, charging point and vehicle.
  • The charging equipment and vehicle use compatible AC communication and control protocols.
Important: A 32 A cable does not force a vehicle to charge at 32 A. Charging is limited by the lowest supported rating in the complete system.

How to use

A safe charging sequence

Always follow the vehicle and charging-equipment manufacturer instructions, as the required sequence may differ.

1

Check

Park safely, switch off the vehicle and confirm cable, inlet and charging-point compatibility.

2

Inspect

Check both connectors and the cable for damage, moisture, contamination or foreign objects.

3

Connect

Connect the Type 2 end to compatible charging equipment and fully insert the GB/T connector into the vehicle.

4

Start

Begin the session using the vehicle, charging point, access card or application as required.

5

Verify

Confirm that both the vehicle and charging point indicate charging has started correctly.

6

Disconnect

Stop or unlock the session, remove the vehicle-side connector, then disconnect the charging-point side where applicable.

Safety information

Use only within confirmed ratings

  • Do not use for DC rapid charging.
  • Never exceed the ratings of the vehicle, charging point, electrical installation or cable.
  • Do not use damaged connectors, pins, locking mechanisms or insulation.
  • Keep contacts clean and free from liquid, grease, corrosion and foreign objects.
  • Avoid sharp bends, crushing, impact, excessive tension and hot surfaces.
  • Stop immediately if the cable becomes unusually hot, smells unusual, discolours or malfunctions.
  • Do not modify, dismantle or attempt to repair the cable.
  • Do not combine adapters or extensions unless the complete arrangement is confirmed safe.

Environmental note: The product’s ingress-protection and environmental ratings are not specified. Protect connectors from standing water and severe conditions unless suitability is independently confirmed.
Care and storage

Protect the cable between sessions

Disconnect before cleaning. Wipe the exterior using a soft dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents, abrasives, pressure washers or conductive cleaning tools.

Allow connectors to dry fully. Store in a clean, dry place away from direct heat, sharp objects, heavy loads and prolonged tension. Coil loosely to reduce stress.

Before every use

  • Confirm connector direction and charging protocol.
  • Check current and phase configuration.
  • Inspect the cable and connector housings.
  • Ensure contacts are clean and dry.
  • Position the cable to avoid trip and trapping hazards.
Frequently asked questions

Key buying and compatibility questions

Is this an AC or DC cable?

It is intended for compatible AC charging. It is not confirmed for GB/T DC or CCS rapid-charging systems.

How long is the cable?

The cable is 5 metres long.

What current ratings are available?

The listing identifies 16 A and 32 A versions. Select the rating supported by the complete charging system.

Does it support three-phase charging?

A three-phase version is available, but the cable, charging point, installation and vehicle must all support three-phase AC charging.

What is the maximum charging power?

No single maximum is specified. It depends on current, phase, supply voltage, charging point, onboard charger, settings and protocol.

Will 32 A make every vehicle charge faster?

No. A 32 A cable cannot override limits imposed by the vehicle, onboard charger, charging point or electrical installation.

Is it compatible with every GB/T vehicle?

No. Confirm the compatible GB/T AC interface, vehicle model and year, onboard charger, software and communication protocol.

Is it weatherproof?

An ingress-protection rating is not specified. Keep connectors protected from standing water and severe weather.
