This Privacy Policy explains how iCharge ("iCharge,""we," "us," or "our")collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you visit our website at icharge.app and any of its subdomains, including our charging-station locator at map.icharge.app (together, the "Site"), and when you contact us through the Site.

This Policy is intended to comply with Albanian Law No.124/2024 "On the Protection of Personal Data" and, to the extent it applies to visitors from the European Union/European Economic Area, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

If you use our mobile application, charging account, or fleet/business platform, additional or different privacy terms may apply tothose services; this Policy covers the public website and locator described above.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data in the following ways:

a) Information you give us directly

When you use a contact, inquiry, or "get in touch"form on the Site, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include:

  • First name and surname
  • Email address
  • Phone number

We only collect this information when you voluntarily submitit to us, with your consent.

  • The content of your message or inquiry

b) Location data (to show nearby chargers)

If you use our charging-station map/locator, your browser ordevice will ask you for permission to share your location. If you grant this permission, we (or our mapping/location service provider acting on our behalf)use your approximate or precise geographic location solely to show you charging stations near you and to provide directions.

  • This feature only works if you give your consent through your browser's or device's location permission prompt.
  • You can withdraw this permission at any time through your browser or device settings, after which the "nearby chargers" feature will no longer work, but you can still search the map manually (e.g., by station name or address).
  • We do not use location data collected through the website locator to build a profile of you or to track you outside of the locator session, beyond what is needed to operate the map.

c) Usage and analytics data (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC ("Google"), tounderstand how visitors use our Site and to improve it. Google Analyticsautomatically collects information such as:

  • Your IP address (which may be shortened/anonymized)
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent on pages, links clicked
  • Referring website/source
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address (city/country level)

This data is collected using cookies and similar technologies. We only activate Google Analytics, or only activate its non-essential measurement features, after you have given consent through our cookie banner, in accordance with applicable law. Google acts as our data processor/service provider for this purpose. Google may also process this data under its own privacy policy where it acts in its own capacity; we encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policyat https://policies.google.com/privacy.

d) Technical/log data

Like most websites, our servers and hosting providers may automatically log limited technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and access times) for security, fraud prevention, and to keep the Site running properly.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of data (such as health, religious, or biometric data) through the Site.

4. How We Share Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share personal data with:

  • Google,as the provider of Google Analytics, for website analytics purposes, as     described above.
  • Mapping/location service providers, to power the charging-station locator and provide     directions.
  • IT, hosting, and email service providers who process data on our behalf to     operate the Site and respond to inquiries.
  • Public authorities or regulators, where required by Albanian or EU law (e.g.,     a request from the Commissioner for the Right to Information and     Protection of Personal Data, a court, or law enforcement).
  • Professional advisors (e.g., lawyers, auditors), where necessary, and bound by     confidentiality.
  • A successor entity, if iCharge is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Any third party that processes personal data on our behalfdoes so under a data processing agreement requiring them to keep your datasecure and use it only for the agreed purposes.

5. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers (including Google, for GoogleAnalytics) may process data on servers located outside Albania and outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this occurs, werely on appropriate safe guards recognized under Albanian Law No. 124/2024 and,where relevant, the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses or the provider's own certified transfer mechanisms, to ensure your data continues tobe protected.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Contact form/inquiry data: kept for as long as needed to respond to and resolve your inquiry, and for a reasonable period afterward in case of follow-up, after which it is deleted or anonymized, unless a longer retention period is required by law (e.g., for accounting, tax, or dispute purposes).
  • Location data: used only in real time to show nearby chargers; we do not retain     a history of your locations from the website locator beyond what is needed     for the session, unless aggregated and anonymized for service improvement.
  • Analytics data: retained in Google Analytics according to the retention settings     we configure, which we limit to no longer than reasonably necessary for analysis (commonly up to 14 months for user-level data), after which it is automatically deleted or anonymized by Google.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law (Albanian Law No. 124/2024 and,where applicable, the GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), in certain circumstances
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Data portability, where technically feasible
  • Withdraw your consent at any time (e.g., by changing your cookie preferences or     revoking location permission in your browser/device settings), without     affecting processing carried out before withdrawal
  • Lodge a complaint with the Albanian Commissioner for the Right to     Information and Protection of Personal Data (Komisioneri për të Drejtën e     Informimit dhe Mbrojtjen e të Dhënave Personale – IDP), or, if you are in     the EU/EEA, with your local data protection supervisory authority

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children, and we do notknowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believea child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can deleteit.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Links to Other Websites

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites (forexample, app stores or partner sites). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time toreflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will post the updatedversion on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. If changesare significant, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
