Compatibility

What to verify before purchase

A matching connector alone does not guarantee full compatibility. The vehicle, charger, electrical supply, and regional requirements must all align.

Vehicle make, model, and model year

Vehicle charging-inlet standard

Vehicle onboard AC charger

Supported charging voltage and current

Vehicle software and charging settings

Electrical outlet and circuit capacity

Mains plug fitted to the charger

Regional electrical requirements

Charging speed note

The charger cannot make a vehicle charge faster than its onboard charger allows. A vehicle that accepts less than 16A or less than 3.5 kW will charge at its supported rate.

Frequently asked questions

Common compatibility questions

Is this charger Type 2 or GB/T?

It is available in separate Type 2 and GB/T versions. The connector supplied depends on the selected product version.

Does one connector work with both standards?

No. Type 2 and GB/T are different connector standards. Choose the version that matches the vehicle’s inlet.

Which version should I choose?

Choose Type 2 for a compatible Type 2 AC inlet and GB/T for a compatible GB/T inlet. Check the vehicle manual or charging-port specifications when uncertain.

Can the Type 2 version charge a GB/T vehicle?

Not directly. The vehicle connector must match the charging inlet and supported charging protocol.
