PRODUCT OVERVIEW

One adapter for supported CCS2 charging infrastructure

The adapter connects a CCS2 charging plug to a compatible vehicle fitted with a NACS/Tesla-style inlet. It does not add CCS capability to a vehicle that lacks the required charging-control hardware, software or communication support.

AC and DC support

Designed to support compatible AC and DC charging connections through one unit.

High-power DC charging

Rated for DC charging applications up to 250 kW, subject to system limits.

Durable contacts

High-purity copper conductors with silver-plated contact surfaces.

Weather-resistant housing

Flame-retardant PC and ABS shell with an IP54 protection rating.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Rated for demanding EV charging use

Use the stated operating range of −20°C to +55°C unless separate product documentation confirms otherwise.

COMPATIBILITY

Connector shape alone is not enough

Confirm that the vehicle supports the charging mode and CCS communication used by the selected station. Compatibility can vary by model, model year, charging-control module, battery system, software version, station operator and protocol implementation.

Some earlier or imported vehicles may require a hardware retrofit, charging-control module upgrade, software activation or manufacturer service.

Verify before purchase

  • The vehicle has a compatible NACS/Tesla-style inlet.
  • CCS communication is enabled in the vehicle.
  • The charger uses a compatible CCS2 connector and protocol.
  • Voltage and current remain within vehicle and adapter limits.
  • The vehicle software and charging hardware support the station.
HOW TO USE

Connect, charge and disconnect safely

1

Park safely, place the vehicle in Park and inspect all connectors.

2

Insert the adapter fully into the vehicle’s NACS-style inlet.

3

Connect the CCS2 plug firmly and confirm both sides are locked.

4

Start the session through the station, app, card or vehicle controls.

5

Stop charging completely and wait for both locking systems to release.

6

Disconnect, allow the adapter to cool if needed, and store it dry.

SAFETY & CARE

Use only with clean, dry and undamaged connectors

Do not use the adapter if the housing, pins, seals, locking mechanism or contact surfaces are damaged, wet, contaminated, corroded or overheated. Never stack adapters, modify the product, pressure-wash it or disconnect while current is flowing.

Stop charging immediately if you notice

  • Unusual heat, smell, noise, smoke or sparking
  • Repeated charging errors or discoloration
  • Loose connections or failed locking mechanisms
  • Cracks, deformation, corrosion or foreign material
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Important answers before you connect

Does it support both AC and DC charging?

It is listed as a 2-in-1 AC/DC model. Successful charging depends on vehicle hardware, software, protocol and station compatibility.

Will my vehicle always charge at 250 kW?

No. The 250 kW figure is the adapter’s maximum listed rating. The vehicle and charger negotiate the actual power.

Is it compatible with every Tesla vehicle?

No universal compatibility can be guaranteed. Model year, hardware, CCS support and software all matter.

Can it be used at every CCS2 station?

Not necessarily. Authentication, station software, voltage, protocol and network configuration can affect the session.

Is it waterproof?

No. IP54 provides limited protection from dust and splashing water. Do not submerge it or use wet contacts.

Can multiple adapters be stacked?

No. Stacking adapters can increase resistance, heat, communication faults and mechanical strain.
