CCS2 to CHAdeMO
Connects a CCS Combo 2 DC charging cable to a compatible vehicle fitted with a CHAdeMO charging inlet.
CCS2 TO CHADEMO DC FAST-CHARGING ADAPTER
Connect a compatible CHAdeMO-equipped electric vehicle to suitable CCS Combo 2 DC charging equipment with this portable protocol-conversion adapter.
KEY FEATURES
Connects a CCS Combo 2 DC charging cable to a compatible vehicle fitted with a CHAdeMO charging inlet.
Maximum stated current rating is 200 A. The vehicle and charger determine the actual current and charging speed.
Compact enough to store in the vehicle for travel and use at compatible public DC charging locations.
The enclosure is listed as IP54 rated and the product listing identifies CE certification.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Use only with compatible CCS2 DC charging equipment and a compatible CHAdeMO vehicle. Maximum voltage and maximum charging power were not confirmed in the original listing.
VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY
A CHAdeMO connector alone does not guarantee compatibility. Successful charging also depends on the vehicle model and year, firmware, battery-management system, station hardware, charger software and supported communication protocols.
HOW IT WORKS
Inspect the adapter, both connector interfaces and locking components. Keep all contacts clean and dry.
Insert the CHAdeMO side into the vehicle and make sure it is fully secured.
Connect the charging station’s CCS2 plug to the CCS2 side of the adapter.
Start the session through the station controls and confirm charging begins correctly.
Stop the session completely and wait for unlocking before disconnecting.
Remove the CCS2 plug first, then the adapter, and store it in a clean, dry location.
Never force a locked connector or disconnect while charging is active.
CHARGING PERFORMANCE
The vehicle and charging station automatically determine permitted voltage, current and power. The adapter cannot increase the vehicle’s original maximum charging capability.
TRAVEL & OUTDOOR USE
IP54 provides limited protection against dust and splashing water. The adapter must not be immersed, pressure washed, used in standing water or connected with wet or contaminated contacts.
SAFETY INFORMATION
Stop using the product if there is visible damage, deformation, unusual heat, odour or repeated charging failure. Do not dismantle, modify, drill, open or repair the adapter.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
It allows a compatible CHAdeMO-equipped electric vehicle to connect to a compatible CCS2 DC charging cable.
No. Compatibility depends on the exact vehicle, model year, software, charging system and protocol implementation.
No. It is for CCS2 DC charging equipment and does not convert AC charging into CHAdeMO DC charging.
The maximum stated current rating is 200 A. The vehicle and charger may operate at a lower current.
It is IP54 rated for limited dust and splash protection, but it must not be immersed or used in flooded conditions.
One CCS2-to-CHAdeMO DC charging adapter. Any storage case, protective caps or documentation should be confirmed separately.
